Herun Steel Pipe Plant of Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province, is a special plant which, by adopting high frequency welding, manufactures steel pipes used in the transmission of low pressure fluid, furniture steel pipes and electrical casing pipes. The products include the high frequency straight seam welded pipes with the diameter of Φ16~Φ63mm and pipe wall thickness of 0.8-3.5mm, square pipes with side length not longer than 50mm, and rectangle pipes. The products are widely used in construction, decoration, steel furniture manufacturing, machinery, electrical construction and other fields. There are two high frequency welding pipe manufacturing lines respectively withΦ40 and 100kw, andΦ60 and 200kw. These two lines utilize pressure adjusting high frequency power, equipments controlled by the national up-to-date digitalized computer technology. The welding quality is highly guaranteed. Moreover, there is a set of 1,700 longitudinal cut equipment, which processes cold and hot low carbon steel roll plated of <1,550mm width and <5mm thickness into steel belts of various types.
